The Dream Continues...

There are moments in life that make every setback, every delay, every difficult decision, and every ounce of faith worthwhile.

I am beyond excited to finally share that Phoenix and Zenna are expecting our very first foal together in May 2027.

This journey has been nearly twenty years in the making. It has been filled with incredible highs, heartbreaking losses, countless lessons, and an unwavering belief that one day this vision would become reality. Watching this dream begin its second generation is difficult to put into words.

None of this would have been possible without the amazing people who have shared their knowledge, encouragement, and friendship along the way.

Cedar Hills Stallion Station and the Horse Breeding Short Courses have been an incredible resource throughout this journey. Dustin, your knowledge, generosity, and willingness to teach have made such a tremendous impact. You truly are a gem within the equine reproduction community.

A heartfelt thank you to Mary Thomas Brown for taking such wonderful care of Zenna while we continue preparing our own farm. Between building a new barn, installing fencing, and battling what feels like endless rain, you've given me incredible peace of mind knowing she has been in the very best hands.

Thank you to Charlotte Garrett for all of your help, encouragement, and friendship over the past year. Your support has meant more than you know.

To Kayla Carter Johnson, thank you for beginning Phoenix's dressage journey. He has already shown us so much potential, and I can't wait to begin the next phase together.

And finally, thank you to Nichole Mesik for entrusting me with such an extraordinary mare. Zenna is every bit as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Her kindness, grace, intelligence, and presence have exceeded every expectation. She truly is everything I had hoped for.

While this foal will be the very first by Phoenix, I know in my heart it represents something much larger than a single horse. It represents the continuation of a vision that has quietly grown for decades—a vision of combining the elegance, intelligence, athleticism, and heart of the Friesian with the extraordinary color and genetics of the Appaloosa.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in this dream, followed the journey, offered advice, celebrated the victories, and helped me through the setbacks.

The second generation is coming.
The dream continues. ❤️
